Solar charger saves sanity in aftermath of Hurricane Sandy

Jill Fehrenbacher says a Nokero SunRay Pro Power Solar Charger hanging in a window on a cloudy day after Hurricane Sandy while her power was out managed to get enough juice to charge her cell phone, and that made all the difference. She was then able to check news and tell friends she was ok.

I recently purchased the ReVIVE Solar charger with two extra solar panels, have been testing it, and it works well. As long as some sun is shining, our smart phones can be powered. It just charged my iPhone 4S 90% on 25% of its charge.

Smart phones can be lifelines in emergencies. However, of course, they only work if they have power. With a solar charger, you also can have power.
