3D printed prosthetic eyes – faster, cheaper, better

Fripp Design in the UK can 3D print upwards of 150 prosthetic eyes per hour and sells them for $160, way less than the several thousand for traditional glass eyes, which can take weeks to make. Make no mistake, this is disruptive technology within an industry. Glass eyes will soon be replaced by 3D printed prosthetic eyes

The company is also working on 3D printed ear and nose replacements.
