Massive hypocrisy and continual lying by the US government about its surveillance state is having blowback across the planet. Russia and China have basically told the US to fuck off about Snowden. US bleating about freedom and transparency seems mighty empty and meaningless considering the NSA lies to Congress continually and Obama runs interference for the national security state.
