I’m helping convert a political blog with thousands of users from an ancient version of Drupal to WordPress.
We’re using BuddyPress and the Atahualpa theme. We got the entire look and feel done in about 10 hours. This is a testament to open source and amazing WordPress plugins and themes.
We would have gotten it done faster except the Register screen refused to work. After much bashing around and reconfiguring I finally determined that since we were already logged in and previously registered, that of course it wouldn’t let us register. Once we logged out, register worked fine. D’uh oh!
