Zero waste-to-landfill status for schoolbus maker

CNG bus from Thomas Built

Everything received or produced by Thomas Built is either used, reused, recycled, reclaimed, sold or converted into energy. In December 2010, Thomas Built carted off its last load of junk to a local landfill. Since then, the school bus manufacturer has operated as a zero-waste facility

They manufacture CNG and hybrid-electric buses as well as conventional models.
