Obama Administration “tone-deaf” say Florida Democratic candidate

Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Alex Sink, in a Politico interview. She lost by 1%.

“They got a huge wake-up call two days ago, but unfortunately they took a lot of Democrats down with them. They just need to be better listeners and be better at reaching out to people who are on the ground to hear about the realities of their policies as well as politics.”

I think they were tone-deaf. They weren’t interested in hearing my opinion on what was happening on the ground with the oil spill. And they never acknowledged that they had problems with the acceptance of health care reform.”

Why is the Obama Administration so apparently inept, insular, and remote? This beyond odd, especially considering Obama came up in the rough and tumble of Chicago politics and was a community organizer – a job which absolutely demands that you listen to people. Is he just clueless or does he simply not care?

Mort Zuckerman, early backer of Obama and billionaire owner of US New and Word Report, is scathing about Obama now.
