Hartford CT Mayor convicted of bribery, extortion

Eddie Perez could get 55 years. Sentencing is Sept. 10. One assumes he will resign but with Perez, who knows.

I grew up near Hartford. This is just another sad tale in its long, seemingly endless, downward spiral.

Update: Perez has resigned.
