There are a few hopeful signs. Oceanic shipping is strongly up. Recent reports show that IT is definitely coming back, something I’m seeing too. I’m self-employed and do database programming, website development, and build e-Commerce sites with WordPress. There been a surge of inquiries and some new business in the past month or so.
So, maybe we’re bottoming up, which admittedly is scant help for those looking for work now.
