Yo Bob! Big Typos Alert!!!
It’s not a typo!. It gets over two thousand miles per gallon.
That’s way cool. Though at 96 pounds, you’d hate to collide with a Expedition!
The headline reads “two thousand seven hundred fifty two miles per hour (2752mph)” with the “top speed of thirty miles per gallon (30mpg)”. Quote, end of quote. You don’t want to call it a typo, I’m OK with that.
FIXED! I can only plead that I posted that late at night after a long day…
And should clean my glasses more often.
Having been known to type a few story problems in the dark, I have an eye for orders of such magnitude. And oft having cryptically concocted some bizarro formuli at three in the morning the answer isn’t quite as interesting as the mystery itself.
Cool car, though I’m with DJ on the contact with the expedition. Especially at three point six times the speed of sound…
I don’t know. At 3 and half times the speed of sound, anything with any amount of mass is going to do some heavy damage. That doesn’t mean it won’t be destroyed itself, but the expedition would likely crumple.
