Climate chief was told of false glacier claims before Copenhagen

Rajendra Pachauri was told that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment that the glaciers would disappear by 2035 was wrong, but he waited two months to correct it. He failed to act despite learning that the claim had been refuted by several leading glaciologists.

East Anglia broke law by refusing to make climate data public

The university at the centre of the climate change row over stolen e-mails broke the law by refusing to hand over its raw data for public scrutiny.

The University of East Anglia breached the Freedom of Information Act by refusing to comply with requests for data concerning claims by its scientists that man-made emissions were causing global warming.

Folks, we need to keep our own side of the street clean. Really. This hyper-partisan lying and evasion while hiding behind a thin veneer of science needs to stop, and stop now.
