What goes around comes around. Congress voted for the Patriot Act, even though they new about innocent citizens being wiretapped. There was no clause added stating that members of Congress were exempt. I don’t know why she would expect the Justice Dept to tell her they were investigating her. If you or I were the subject of an investigation – we would not be warned or notified. Hope she is happy with what she wrought. Hope the others are looking over their shoulders too. Maybe a repeal will be forthcoming.
