Latest Ponzi scheme bust

We have an exciting new entry in the World’s “Biggest Liar Competition – Financial Division”

The SEC has filed charges against Leila Jenkins and her Locke Capital firm for inventing a fictitious billion dollar client as a way to attract other investors, and then lying to the SEC about it.

She owns several nice homes. From the filing, it sounds like SEC will take all of them and what else they find.

I know, there’s so many frauds and thefts lately you need a database to track them all.

(Apologies to BBC for stealing their image for a quite legitimate Liars Contest, or at least one where you know they are lying.)
