Eliot Spitzer made his rep as a NY prosecutor going after the Gambino family. The prostitution ring Spitzer used apparently has links to the Gambino family.
TheStreet.com says in this video that Spitzer made serious enemies on Wall Street and maybe this was a setup.
Y’know, find a weakness in the enemy, exploit it, then destroy him with it.
