Banned from Kos … again!

Politizine has gotten himself banned yet again from DailyKos. Every time it was for the unspeakable outrage of questioning Democrats.

This has occurred twice before: Once during the famous primary wars of 2003, for defending Ralph Nader repeatedly and criticizing Gen. Wesley Clark and former Gov. Howard Dean, who I ended up voting for; and then again, in late 2004, when I stated early one Sunday morning that an “SNL” skit showing John Kerry to be a flip-flopper was funny and factually correct.

This time it was for saying Al Gore Sr. was a segregationist, which he most certainly was.

The real problem with Kos, Politizine details, is “no tolerance for indies and tolerance for them when they are against someone we dislike or someone who Kos targets.” All of which helps not a whit in the actual reform of the Democratic Party that Kos says he wants, because how can reform occur if criticism is banned?

  1. DailyKos is a partisan web site. Its goal is promoting an internal Democratic reformation. Commenters that don’t contribute to this goal are frequently banned as trolls (i.e. those posting comments to an end incongruent with the goals of the site).

  2. how dare you opine something that the great and mighty kos may find
objectionable. or interupt his troll minions suckling each other in non-stop love thr
threads. they’re the real thought police.

the site has becomome creepy and syncophantic as the best diarists and commenters find themselves banned. one of the kossacks even wrote that they didn’t need any swing voters. okay, good plan to win elections.
