From an activist movement into an ideological force
Brian Becker is a member of the National Steering Committee of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and national coordinator of the ANSWER Coalition. PSL is a coalition member of ANSWER.
He gave two presentations at a PSL teach-in in San Francisco on October 23. The teach-in, entitled "Capitalist Crisis and the Need for Socialism," included panel and workshop discussions and covered a wide range of topics. His panel presentation during the first session of the teach-in and his concluding remarks at the end focused on the need for the activist movement to develop into an ideological force.
