What does the name Politics in the Zeros mean, you ask?
Polizeros was started in 2003, the early in the first decade of a new century. Thus the years had lots of zeros in them. Plus, politics is about money so there are lots of zeros there too. Finally, in my opinion, many politicians are themselves zeros.
Bob Morris, the webmaster, is interested in the political ramifications of cleantech, climate change, and the economic crisis as well as leftie, antiwar, and social justice issues.
From 2004-2007 I was active in the antiwar movement in Los Angeles, and helped organize protests including mass demonstrations that sometimes drew hundreds of thousands of protesters. From 2001-2003, I was Co-coordinator of the Green Party of Los Angeles County.
I’m Western Regional Editor of the Independent Voter Network where I write about about politics, cleantech, and water issues. Plus I’m a website developer and database programmer. Among other things, I specialize in migrating legacy Clipper and Foxpro apps to Windows, as well as supporting them. Yes, there are zillions of such apps still out there. See my business website for more information. My wife Sue is a CPA, CFE with a recent Masters in Taxation. We currently live in Silicon Valley.
