Crazed environmental ecoterrorists in the Pentagon say the US needs more renewable energy and that climate change is a threat to national security.
The report, released quietly this month, says climate change is a bigger national security threat than the country’s dependence on foreign oil.
The authors call the habitual American fixation on winning energy independence through expanded North American production of oil and natural gas “misguided.” They say the “only sustainable solution” to the problem of energy insecurity is not through more drilling, but through energy efficiency and renewable fuels, like biofuels to replace.
Unfortunately our Congress is filled with those beholden to big oil and to whom a long-term viewpoint is the next election. Our mostly useless and parasitical political class in DC is the biggest hinderance to action on climate change.
