The venerable progressive political blog, The Agonist, is for all purposes dead. Oh, it might stagger on as a shell of its former self for a bit, but the thrill is gone as are, in the past few days, editor-in-chief Steve Hynd and many of the main writers. I’ll spare you the details, a quick glance at their home page will explain  Many Agonist writers will no doubt return to their own blogs or perhaps group together elsewhere. We shall see. Onward.
