A positive proof that we live in an insane world, driven insane by an insane system. America accounts for 41% of the world’s total military expenditure, but accounts for nowhere near that percentage of the world’s population. China which has approximately 25% of the world’s population accounts for only 8.2% of the world’s military expenditure. The UK which is no more than a wee island of 64 million people, accounts for 3.6% of the world’s military expenditure. This tells you that it is all about power and force, not democracy and the needs of the people.
