Germany plans to replace their nuclear power plants with renewable energy and will be constructing ginormous offshore wind farms and gigantic new grids. Their country is unified about renewable energy and indeed already is a world leader in installed solar.
Meanwhile, back in the USA, Congress just decimated subsidies for renewable energy and we still don’t have any offshore wind, not one single turbine. Pathetic, isn’t it?
