In the parlance of backpacking, the Conqueror is bombproof, built to withstand extremely rugged conditions. It’s well-designed and engineered, sleeps six, has hot water, filtration to keep out dust, TV, shower, stove, refrigerator. The fully equipped version is at $58,000.
This reminds me of Patagonia products. They’re expensive. But if you’re going mountaineering for two weeks, you want equipment you know won’t fail. Walmart fleece is fine for walking around town. For the back country, you want Patagonia or North Face. Ditto for off road trailers.
