Admiral Mike Mullen, who steps down this month as chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, made his accusation before a U.S. Senate panel.
The ISI is a force unto itself and isn’t particularily beholden to the Pakistan government. Mullen is simply saying what many have known for years.
So why is the US attempting to be pals with the Pakistan government where a powerful faction within it is openly antagonistic to it?
