Alice was imprisoned in a cage by a backyard breeder until recently when she was dumped at a pound to be killed. She was rescued and is learning what it’s like to be petted and cared for rather than abused. This photo show her going on her first walk on a leash ever, a little apprehensive, but basically doing fine.
She might be a “docker”, a cross between a dachshund and a cocker spaniel, and is gentle once she gets over being scared. She just needs a little more TLC and will make a fine dog for someone. She’s being fostered in the San Jose area. If you can give her a home, let me know.
