Gas 2.0 has the details.

Under the hood of the global Ranger (codename T6) is a 3.2 liter inline-five cylinder turbo diesel engine with 190 horsepower and a whooping 346 ft-lbs of torque. This vehicle is designed for markets like Australia, Asia, and other places where full-size pickups are not used or needed.

Here in the USA, Ford DENIES us this liberty. They stick us with crappy gasoline engines.

My first thought: wish I had one of these to tow my milk trailer, which tops out around 6,800 pounds when full. My second thought: coming over the mountain towing a trailer that big in a truck that small and light would be INSANE!

    I’m just sayin’…
