I just finished the Cedar City half marathon. It began at 8,200 ft. in Cedar Canyon and ended 13.1 thigh-pounding, knee-crunching miles later at 5,800 ft. in Cedar City. Given all the traveling I’ve been doing, I barely trained and inexplicably finished 166 out of 500. And my legs feel it.
I’ve done ten full marathons and know how to pace myself. So I took it easy, and the run while hard at the end, was down a canyon with spectacular cliffs and scenery
