A friend once booked Black Flag in the Park Plaza in downtown L.A. It is a huge, massively built hotel with thick interior walls downstairs. I was in the bathroom about 2 hours before the show. The walls started vibrating. I thought it was an earthquake. Nope. It was Black Flag doing their sound check.
