Some drug cartel members leaving Arizona, but hardly all

Click through for video

Meth dealers from the Sinaloa cartel were arrested in Oklahoma, and reportedly told police their bosses told them to leave Arizona due to the immigration law.

Mr. Richardson – a journalist and former counterdrug officer – offers great insight in the video, which I briefly wanted to share. First, it is possible that some DTO members are leaving Arizona because they’re concerned about increasing police scrutiny. However, if anyone thinks they’re leaving for good, they’re sorely mistaken. DTOs may not operate with as much impunity in the US as they do in Mexico, but they certainly won’t be put off by a mere immigration law.
