With its barrel-shaped glass roof, the Galleria at Erieview in Cleveland already looked like a greenhouse. Many of its stores are empty, so their marketing director has re-purposed part of it for growing vegetables hydroponically. It’s on a small scale now, however they hope to expand to much larger scale.
Maybe in a few years when marijuana is legal or de facto legal, dead malls will become giant indoor grow houses.
