Many states working to limit power of Feds

Whether it be gun rights in Utah or medical marijuana in California, there are multiple efforts by state legislatures and activists to limit the influence of the federal government in their internal affairs.

“There are … 13 bills that I know of in our Legislature that address our state’s sovereign right to make decisions in our own state, … and to say to the federal government, ‘What part of shall not infringe do they not understand?‘ ” [says a state legislator in Utah.]
