This deliberately arrogant, contemptuous move shows that Goldman cares nothing about the country or anything else except their own greed.

Back to you Mr. President. Who runs the country, Washington DC or investment banks? Lloyd Blankfein just spat in your face. What will you do about it?

    I still contend returning to the tax rates of the 1930s and 1940s is the way to go. Anything made over $1M (or adjusted, about $10M) is taxed >80%. That will stop bonuses like this in their tracks. No CEO would gift themselves a $100M bonus when they knew the IRS would snag $80M of it away from them come tax time.

      The problem with this bonus is not that they are rewarding themselves but that they are doing so at the expense of the taxpayer.
