US to give $30,000 subsidy for large electric trucks

Such trucks are recharged at night when costs are low and have few moving parts in the engines. Thus, total costs are much less than internal combustion engine trucks.
Smith Electric Vehicles US builds the Edison, which the USPS is watching as it is designed for 10 years of steady use.
