Staff rushed to rescue many of the 800 pairs donated by Marcos to Philippines museum

Tragically, over 100 pair of shoes got wet, but are expected to survive.

Because when entire villages have been wiped out, the important thing is to save shoes owned by the wife of a dictator who looted the country.
