Newsweek: “We are all socialists now”

In many ways our economy already resembles a European one. As boomers age and spending grows, we will become even more French.

I hope so. Then the US will have actual, affordable health care for all, among other such socialist interventions.

But right now, the socialism has just been for the rich. Or for the lemons. But certainly not for the people.

On scale, socialism is an inapplicable ideal.
There’s just too many people.

this blatant title shows the direction we are heading as a nation. Sadly, this direction does not focus on equal opportunity, rather redistribution afterward. I dont see why nobody sees that education is at the root of this problem, and capitalism is great as long as everyone has an equal chance.
