BART cop Johannes Mehserle , who shot Oscar Grant in the back as he was lying on the ground, is on suicide watch after being charged with murder.
He was arrested in Nevada and has waived extradition.
I can not recall a single other incident like this where a police officer has been charged with murder.
Can you recall a case where a cop shot an unarmed man that was already under controll by 2 other cops, and it was captured on video from at least 15 unique angles? The evidence is beyond anything we’ve ever seen before… No suprise this is being handled differently.
