Iceland protesters storm police station

Thousands of Icelanders protested in Reykjavik on Saturday, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Geir Haarde and Central Bank Governor David Oddsson, for bankrupting their country. A group of protesters also stormed the city’s central police station to release one of the protesters arrested the day before.

Not really surprising, is it? This is probably just the leading edge of protests that are coming. Their currency has been obliterated and the people responsible are still in power, something that would make most want to get in the streets.

  1. From the second richest country, per capita,to bankrupt in two weeks. Is anybody catching on regarding who’s running things here? Educate (google) yourself on the history of the Federal Reserve to see the method in the madness.
