Solix uses waste co2 from power plants as a booster for algae growth and have announced they may be able to cut costs by 90%.
Aquaflow Bionomic Corporation plans to harvest wild algae directly from open air environments.
Montana State University just got a $900,000 grant to study biofuel from algae.
Indonesia and South Korea are joining together to harvest seaweed for biofuel. South Korea has the technology, Indonesia has the seaweed.
