  1. The second photo sums it up nicely – as I was just explaining to Dawn, it’s not about gay rights, it’s all about all of us being free from the imposition of moral stricture by a select group of people not representative of the majority.

The question as to whether or no one subscribe to a conspiracy theory is moot. When conspiracy is but a “combination or union for a single purpose or end, an agreement manifesting itself in words or deeds by which two or more confederate to act”, then we all to a degree conspire – concur to work to one end, act in harmony, cooperate [Merriam Webster, ©1953(1916)ce].

The question at hand is too which conspiracy theory does one subscribe?

My favorite covers them all: black helicopters, 9/11, Y2K, JFK, jack-booted right-wing thugs, UFOs, various genocide in the name of ya’who… heyzeus and the aquantine progression, Olympus, Asgard, Moses, the Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, Noah, Gilgamesh, and, “finding them beautiful…, the Sons of Giants coming amongst the Daughters of Men” [Genesis, ~400ce].

’God’s Chosen People, the Son of ‘God’, indeed.

Variously ten, one hundred, or perhaps as much a five hundred, thousand years on, it even affords the notion of Intelligent Design a certain degree of credibility.
