See-through homes

That’s what they call them now in Minnesota’s new ghost towns - these being vacant homes with no curtains and no furniture. You can see through one window and out the other. And there are many of them. What will happen when entire just-built housing developments are abandoned by the builder and / or foreclosed homes greatly outnumber the occupied homes?
It’s not just happening there or just to residential real estate. Commercial real estate is feeling the pain too.
