The presidential primaries

Not very presidential, are they? Robo-calls spewing slime. Accusations of race-baiting. Much snarling and stomping of paws. And we have nine more months of this nonsense too. Sure, much of it is posturing and for show, and thus shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
Events will overtake them. They will have to start talking about the economy whether they want to or not.
