Climate Savers Computing Initiative

Climate Savers Computing Initiative

The Climate Savers Computing Initiative is a nonprofit group of eco-conscious consumers, businesses and conservation organizations dedicated to improving the power efficiency and reducing the energy consumption of computers. The Initiative’s goal is to reduce computer power consumption by 50 percent by 2010 by producing and purchasing power-efficient computers and increasing the use of power management.

The best way to save energy is to not use it at all. Creating a new generation of energy sipping PCs and peripherals will save enormous amounts of power. Participants in the initiative includes major corporations like Google, Microsoft, Dell, HP, and Intel.

The answer to that is either:

1) An income gain of 51%
2) Or a decline in house prices of 34%
