The Clinton campaign attacked Obama for saying he is “not running to fulfill some long held plans” because they discovered - now hold on for this devastating expose - that while in kindergarten Obama had written he wanted to be president. They later compounded their blunder by saying, ha ha, it was just a joke. Yeah, right…
And to think we will be subjected to eleven more months of such petty, idiotic nastiness until the election next November. I wonder, will either major candidate be speaking substantively about the two major issues, the war in Iraq and the coming recession? My prediction, by March or so the economy will be the central issue. But neither candidate will offer any actual solutions and instead will focus on attack ads and blaming the other side.
