Bush won’t block Armenian genocide resolution

This even though he opposes the resolution. Interesting. (Since it’s a resolution, there’s nothing to veto, but apparently he’s chosen not to pressure House Republicans to oppose it.)

Update: Here’s why. The Democrats, including Pelosi, are doing it for him.

    I know this is an old post but, man! Congress is full of wimps. Oh no, the Turkish are going to be mad! The Turkish! btw, the Young Turks was the big political movement (if and you didn’t already know) behind nationalism in 1915 and the expulsion and genocide of Armenians from the Ottoman Empire.

    The Young Turks who bear the same name and the Rod Stewart song should come at least with disclaimers. Especially the web site.
