The Siberian permafrost is melting way faster than expected. “Thawing permafrost can release methane, which is about 23 times more potent than carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas.”
However, China is preparing for climate change induced disasters and plans 24 hour response with food and water for any emergency. Too bad the US isn’t doing the same.
