  1. The site is down, so I can’t read the article, but this sounds like the kind of technology advance we sorely need.

    Consider this: In Sri Lanka, as in many parts of the world, a typical daily wage is $2, and gasoline costs $4 or more per gallon. That’s two day’s wages for a single gallon. Imagine a comparable U.S. gas price of $112 per gallon or so. How would that change our lives?
