Federal loans for coal plants
Bob Morris @ May 15th 2007 00:08 - Category: Renewable energy

A Depression-era loan program for rural areas is providing billions in loans for coal-burning plants to be built. Yuck.
Coal is a massive producer of greenhouse gases. This subsidy needs to be killed, and killed fast. Make it for renewable and clean sources of energy only.

So, let’s try and kill it. Is there a campiagn already going? What committees should we write to? Any suggestions on what we should say?
