Insurance companies warn of global warming costs

Private insurers are factoring in the cost of global warming, the federal government has not. They need to to start doing so, say the private insurers.
An executive for Swiss Reinsurance American says “We believe unequivocally that climate change presents an increasing risk to the world economy and social welfare.”
