On Saddam

From The Angry Arab

If it is up to me, I would not cover the trial of Saddam for at least 2 reasons:
1) I don’t care what happens to Saddam. The Iraqi people deserve to punish Saddam for his crimes; 2) you can’t take seriously any legal or political process in a country under foreign occupation. These processes have no legitimacy.

Amnesty International says the trial was “deeply flawed and unfair” while Saddam lawyer, former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, was thrown out of the court after calling the trial a travesty.
