Christopher Hitchens and and Richard “the Prince of Darkness” Perle attack Bush as an incompetent while Dick Armey slams ultra-Right preacher James Dobson. This is beyond mere dissension in the ranks, this is a machine that is self-destructing.
Meanwhile, on KPFK yesterday, constitutional lawyer Stephen Rhode said a Democratic House means John Conyers, who supports impeachment of Bush, will head the Judicial Committee and will have subpoena power and the ability to hold hearings. This could be a seriously big deal.
