With the election only 11 days away, the Republicans better launch their October Surprise quick else it’ll be too late. My guess - they don’t have one.

The verdict on Saddam will be announced on Nov. 5. This could be the intended October surprise, but could easily backfire into incredible violence in Iraq on Nov. 6.
