We live in remarkably ugly times, don’t we? Sickness abroad, sickness at home. I rarely get nostaglic, but the 60’s were a time of both great tumult as well as great hope. This is an age of collapsing empires, first the USSR, now the US. Yet, great danger can also be great opportunity, because that’s when real and lasting social change can happen.
